The Way School Should Be

In 2005, founders Diane Havighurst and Scot Lynn set out to create an unparalleled educational experience centered around the growth of the whole child.

The vision for North Carroll Community School included small class sizes, creative opportunities for learning, and, most importantly, allowing time for students to own the concepts that they study. The founders wanted to acknowledge and celebrate differences between individuals to ensure a meaningful educational experience.

In addition to our student population growing from 35 to 200, our programs, ability to meet the needs of every child, and relationships in our community have grown too. Peruse our website to see what we're all about. Follow us on social media to see weekly activities. Better yet, come visit!
