Learning Outdoors
Being in nature stimulates our students' senses and nurtures a sense of wonder and awe. Our outdoor environments offer a variety of natural features to explore – classrooms, a playscape, athletic fields, our Monarch Waystations, beehives, and chickens! We use outdoor classrooms as often as we can to provide academic, physiological, mental, ecological, and emotional benefits to students, teachers, and the environment.
